after seven cringe-worthy years in the domain of loserjournal, i’ve decided to put on some big girl pants. my hesitancy to enter the “blogosphere” originates not only from my hatred of the word “blogosphere” but my crippling inability to ever settle upon a name with at least some semblance of wit. yet today, 6/16, a star was born.
i’m a lifelong northerner who moved south of the mason dixon line for love. the hokiest story in the books, but it works for me. while i miss lobster rolls and non-toxic atlantic ocean beaches with every bone of my body, the district of columbia has been good to me thus far. i’ve got a summer of sloth ahead of me, and i plan to spend it well: doing the free activities that cater best to geriatrics and eating popsicles on the roof of my apartment.
we’d get on well if you think the best movies were made in france in the 1960s and the best thing to ever come out of kentucky was maker’s mark. say hi.
